Only three models are running today at the online fashion show "Immortal" by star designer Malan Breton. What's special about them: each of them is a fully animated CGI avatar! Breton is thus the first to launch a truly virtual artificial intelligence fashion show – on different platforms of Fashion Weeks in the USA, Asia and Europe. A global fashion event! Clara Luzia at Kultursalon Guckloch
This week again the currently hippest cultural event in the city is causing a sensation. The concept: a peep show, with a revolving platform, surrounded by 9 cabins, in which two people each look at the stage through a mirrored peephole. The location is Corona-compliant, the artists play unplugged on stage and visitors watch from the cabins – for 15 minutes each. Today the programme starts with the wonderful singer/songwriter Clara Luzia, who can be seen live much too rarely anyway. Afterwards, the Vaginas im Dirndl provide cheeky adult education.

You can’t cancel Rock’n’Roll-Show
Slowly the local cultural scene is recovering and many initiatives announce their creative replacement programme: such as Nova Rock, Austria's biggest festival for headbangers. It won’t take place this year, but as a consolation there will be a livestream today. Four Austrian rock bands have announced their participation: the well-known dialect duo Seiler and Speer, the metal band Black Inhale, the punk rockers of Reverend Backflash and the Amadeus Award winners Kaiser Franz Joseph. That means: clear out your living room and rock along freely! Yeah!

Hula Dance from Hawaii
Friday needs some Aloha spirit! For the paradisiacal vibes, you can swing along with Sonja Gabriel today, who may not have diplomatic status, but has become a kind of Hawaiian ambassador of the hula dance. In her course, the modern version of the original, the Hula Auana, is danced. To the melodic, soft music, the stories of Hawaiian deities, people and nature are told with the whole body, but especially with the hands, through gentle movements. Fate has done a good job arranging this: Ever since the day Gundula Hickisch rediscovered her mum's old weaving loom in the granary, she can't get away from the spindle. Meanwhile she has perfected the ancient craft, today she shows beginners the basics of picture weaving, changing colours and weaving forms. Great for all those who would like to be creative with their hands again for a day and want to take a small woven work of art home with them. The weaving is done outdoors in good weather, otherwise in a small group in the studio.

Stationentheater: Sehnsucht
We miss culture and culture misses us. Therefore, one of Vienna's most creative theatre groups – from Bronski & Grünberg – is organising a “station theatre” on the theme “Sehnsucht” (longing). Under the direction of Ruth Brauer-Kvam, little acts are performed at 3 locations in the theatre: her son Kyrre Kvam performs, there is a scenic reading and a Jacques Brel room for swaying to music. 10 people may listen and marvel while keeping enough distance. Yes, cultural events are finally happening again! We longed for that, too!

Besides fruit and vegetables, there is good honey and beeswax products directly from the field, juices, nectar and jams, mushroom products, organic wine and good stuff from the Mangalica pig. You can also eat on site – with homemade oriental specialties, or the allegedly best Steckerlfisch in town.

Cooking Course: Facciamo la pasta
You can't thank Marco Polo enough for bringing the delicious pasta from China to his native Italy. There, pasta was elevated to a specialty – and the cookbook authors Dario and Manuela Santangelo are letting you in on the secret of the perfect noodle today. The most important varieties such as tagliatelle, ravioli, gnocchi and more are freshly produced. Especially delicious: At the end of the meal, the pasta is served with classic Italian sauces, which have been specially prepared by the Santangelos. Quite exciting when two artists have to share a canvas. The exhibition of the boutique gallery "Burn-In" merges painting and photography and sends visitors to "Iridescent Iceland" on a journey to the far north. Inspired by gigantic waterfalls, glaciers on black beaches, active volcanoes and spectacular northern lights, Johann Wimmer's black-and-white photographs, together with paintings by Linda Steinthorsdottir, create works of great depth. Enchanting landscapes, which become even more unreal through art.

Community picnic in the park
Usually, the cooking spoons are swung at the Ankerbrotfabrik, but until that’s possible again, the intercultural cooking group from Community Cooking simply moves to the park. Every Tuesday from June onwards, picnics and gossiping will take place there, where everyone will gather and chat. You don't need anything but a picnic blanket and something to eat and drink, no need to register. The cooking friends are also looking for willing helpers for their community garden bed. There must not be a ceremonial opening because of the Corona restrictions. However, the exhibition on the famous Austrian-American architect Raimund Abraham will be opened this evening, anyway. His spectacular new building of the Austrian Cultural Forum in New York is one of the most important contributions to contemporary architecture in Manhattan. Known for his playing with geometry, proportion and arithmetic, the exhibited drawings, models and prototypes show his visionary ideas for buildings and utopian city models.

You might not make it to Miami beach this year but you can still work on your beach body. Even if it’s just for Donauinsel. Every Wednesday, the MH76 gym in the Prater offers the right training. During the workout, the muscle groups are put under a lot of strain by using your own body weight, but also by dumbbells, kettlebells and super bands. There are different levels of difficulty for each exercise, so it is suitable for beginners and advanced users. It is essential to sign up in advance, the maximum number of participants able to do sports is nine.

Even if June is pretending to be April these days: summer is just around the corner. And just in time one of the most beautiful fresh air locations in the city has opened. The Seven North, one of the CitySpotterGirl’s favourite places, has acquired a new, hidden terrace on the upper floor. With delicate vintage garden furniture, red flowered parasols and the great cuisine of Israeli celebrity chef Eyal Shani. Of course they make the famous baked cauliflower again, but also tenderly melting lamb filet on tahini and lots of vegetables. Holiday at home!
