"Heya Girls!"
Does anyone even realise that Tinder has actually been around for over 100 years? And that the original version was born in Vienna? Although, to be honest, the old Tinder worked much better because you didn't have to swipe. The “marriage machine” was located in the Prater, and after inserting 6 Hellers (but only copper money, please!) it spat out the “future groom and his exact description”. And the bride-to-be, of course. This miracle will be on display at the new Prater Museum from 15 March. The museum's modern wooden building has been erected in the centre of the Wurstelprater and, from Thursday, will present more than 250 years of the wonderful amusement park's history. Historical and current events are presented on three levels using central objects – you can visit the old “Watschenmann”, the naked Venus from the Wax Museum and the International Marriage Bureau. The editors of CitySpotterGirl are already considering a petition to get the machine running again. Get out of the museum, we need it in real life!

The Iranians are actually PhDs, but they decided to swap climate science and geophysics for a cooking spoon and an apron. They have now turned the delightful results of their transformative journey into a cookbook of Persian delicacies. It takes a close look at the climate crisis and related environmental issues by showcasing innovations from areas such as agriculture, energy supply, mobility, urban planning and land use. Interactive media stations and the immersive “Future Simulator” experience space are also designed to make the climate issue more tangible. Really fascinating!

It's no use. When the waistband of your trousers starts to pinch and your T-shirts stretch, you have to get over your inner couch potato and take it for a walk. This fits in well with the prep training for this year's Women's Run. There are different level groups in over 50 locations across Austria. An unusual concept, but you could get used to it ;-) In Brigittenau, not far from the Augarten, brunch has been served for some time now, which also works as lunch. Meaning you can have breakfast all day long, but it's not a traditional breakfast. The menu features small, warm dishes that are creatively combined – and taste fantastic. For example, one-hour egg with cauliflower and oyster mushrooms, golden trout with steamed chicory or – for the sweet tooth, hazelnut Schmarrn with nougat. With it, they serve fine wines and, of course, coffee. Business is booming, so book in advance!
