Erik Marchand‘s Kreiz Breizh Akademi
Like the musician Erik Marchand, his Breton "big band" Kreiz Breih Akademi is a musical adventure. Breton music is unusually arranged and interpreted by young musicians in workshops lasting several weeks. The Sargfabrik will bring their Austria concert from 2012 into your living room tonight via audio stream. It will be jazzy, traditional, rock and oriental. It’s quite possible that saxophone and bagpipes play together, for instance – and fit surprisingly well together. One of the most exciting world music projects in Europe! You can listen in here.

You often have to wait in line a while to snatch some much sought-after tickets of the aktionstheater, but not if the plays are to be streamed. Today the virtual curtain will rise for "Swing. Dance to the right" by the Vorarlberg theatre-maker Martin Gruber. What is it about? Authoritarian propaganda which is roared first by the media. And the utterly stupid imitation of this. To rhythmic, hammering live music the five suits dance the same choreography over and over again – the rock sounds are, by the way, recomposed children's songs. Apocalypse, but a different one this time.

Tonight we’re dancing around the living room table. Or even on top of it. The makers of Vienna Würstelstand are throwing the first Vienna-in-quarantine party. In an empty Viennese club, big DJs like "Heimlich", "Merkwürdig" and "Zuckerwatt" will play until 4:00 am for the audience at home. (A contactless bar on wheels provides for the appropriate catering.) Joining in is possible via YouTube stream on your TV or laptop. But of course the same applies here, too: Celebrate alone or only with people from your household! A big home party will not take place again for another month or so.

Earth Hour “Lights Out” Campaign
Time to quickly stock up on candles! Because from 20:30 to 21:30 the lights are out! The WWF is once again calling for the world's largest participatory climate protection campaign. And since, apart from the dubious Donald Trump, every child has understood that it can’t go on like this with the hole in the ozone layer, glacier shrinkage and so on, a joint effort is being made today to set an example and save energy. In Vienna, besides private houses, many landmarks such as Schönbrunn Palace, the Rathaus, the Hofburg and the Belvedere remain dark. Around the world, the lights will be going out.
