Now, my dears: For all those who haven’t read last week's editorial yet, here's another reminder! We've created a new book – and it's all about flowers and blossoms. Opulent, in large format, with stunning photos and a multitude of stories and interviews. It has nothing to do with a gardening magazine or instructions for lazy perennial gardeners, though ;-) “Blütenrausch” is a book unlike any other. In it we present floral surprises from all over the world: Japanese works of art made of 12,000 orchids, hydrangea coats by a British designer, a tree house hotel in Sweden and the lost water gardens of Greillenstein Castle. You can tell by the sensational tiles on the ceiling: The restaurant in the Architekturzentrum that once housed the Corbaci is finally back after a long break. And since the pattern of the ceiling tiles was designed by the Turkish artist Asiye Kolbai-Kafalier and the beauties were produced in Istanbul, it is pretty fitting then that Turkish cuisine has now also found its way in there. But it has little to do with the usual kebab cuisine. The Kaan serves keskek – the barley porridge with plucked chicken leg tastes excellent – and fellah köfte, and sometimes also burgers for lunch. Recommended!
