Opas Diandl
Progressive folk music from baroque to punk rock – with Opas Diandl, traditional music simply sounds different. To be more precise, the crafty troupe packs everything into their alpine folk music that constantly pulsates, flows and swirls: life, love, music. The series of campaigns “Sharing Water” is a particularly vivid and entertaining reminder of how valuable and in some places rare this is. The Donaukanal swimming club, for example, invites you to a performative bathing walk and talk on the Danube Canal – swimming in the Danube Canal included! In Josefstadt, the search is on for visible and hidden water spots, and at the “Fishbowl” talk, a legal status for bodies of water is discussed – including a triton snail concert!

Of course, Heuer on Karlsplatz has been around for a while. But with new chefs and refreshed décor, the cuisine has also been renewed. Smoked herb mushrooms with mustard and strawberries, venison with turnips and salt lemon or organic porchetta with pickled fennel create pure summer vibes – especially on the large terrace.
